The Selomar Hotel Scarborough, Scarborough

The hotel was just lovely, a nice place to sit and chill and watch the world outside go by with lovely views of the bay and the sea. The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us with a great view of the south beach, though it lacked the widely photographed bay window.

The hotel offers lovely rooms with spacious and clean accommodations, fantastic breakfast selection, and helpful staff, although located on the 3rd floor. The location provides beautiful sea views and easy access to local shops, pubs, and restaurants. The dining experience is out of this world with great choices from locally sourced ingredients.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were hot, clean, comfortable with lovely decor and a modern, well-appointed bathroom, although they seemed a bit tired with sloping floors. The service, especially the housekeeping, was top-notch. The location was just perfect for us, offering a marvelous view of the north bay and castle from the front of the hotel, and being only a short walk to local shops, pubs, and restaurants. The dining experience was excellent, with plentiful and freshly cooked food. The facilities were great overall, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
